Greenovate is an eco-friendly nod to the homeowners who are taking strides to make the world a better place for living, breathing things. Watch as regular people make home improvements, ranging from the simple change of a light bulb to the drastic installation of a "living roof," reduce their home's carbon footprint and increase the value of their homes. Each episode follows one "greenovator" through the process of making these earth friendly improvements, and with the help of "green consultant," the final impact of their ecological choices will be measured.

In the premiere episode "Green Flip Solar Marvel"...
Real estate investor and professional green consultant, Chris Prelitz, is determined to show people the light. He has purchased a 1600 square-foot, two bedroom, two bathroom house in Laguna Woods, California for $460,000 and plans to not only transform it into a model solar-powered home, but also flip it for a profit. However, it's not long before Chris encounters resistance from the local homeowners association and he begins to realize that his green vision may require a lot more "green" than he had anticipated.
