The September Issue To Premiere at Gala Opening Night at Sundance
Will premiere in U.S. Documentary Competition on Friday, January 16, 2009
We're proud to announce that The September Issue (directed by R.J. Cutler) has been accepted into the 2009 Sundance Film Festival U.S. Documentary Competition and will premiere as a part of the festival's opening celebration. The premiere will be the headline event at the 25th Anniversary Gala to be held at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center in Salt Lake City on Friday, January 16th, 2009.
The September 2007 issue of Vogue magazine weighed nearly five pounds, and was the single largest issue of a magazine ever published. With unprecedented access, The September Issue tells the story of legendary Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour and her larger-than-life team of editors creating the issue and ruling the world of fashion.
